Blimey, High Vinnals...

Well done to all the club members who raced at High Vinnals near Ludlow in the latest cross country winter league event.  I think Ali's post on the message board sums it up!...  "Blimey, High Vinnals... conditions were treacherous, hills were steep, the weather was rubbish - but I thoroughly enjoyed it!  The tri club group are such a great bunch that although the races feel tough its an enjoyable experience on a Sunday morning!  The marshals and other runners are very friendly and encouraging, so all in all, a positive/wet/muddy ordeal"

The Tri Club 'A' team are now in 6th place in the table with 52 points, just 8 behind Builth who are in 5th place - that's a challenge!  Andy Taylor was the first runner from the club home in 12th place in 43 minutes and 43 seconds.  Jon Tetley was next in 21st place in 45:50 followed by Ian 'Fonz' Foster in 57:54 and Mick Norton in 67:32.

In the women's race Sharon was the first from the club home in 28:36 - well done!  Jo C was just after her in 28:40 followed by Ali in 31:06, Sarah in 33:46, Kath in 35:03 and Emma in 38:47.

Well done to everybody, I hope you've thawed out!
